Hermann Kallenbach stepped up and in this way became the co-founder of Gandhi's second community, which they called Tolstoy Farm.</note> He has given all he legitimately could and has expected no return. He does not want to develop his estate through the labour of those passive resisters who could put in their labour without paying them for it. Acts such as Mr. Kallenbach's are calculated to bring East and West nearer in real fellowship than any amount of rhetorical writing or speaking.
