				 Pardon the patriotic stationery -- orange and blue. I'm using up left overs so
					that when I get to a new post I want have any Ft. Sill stationary to throw away. 
				 And speaking of new stationary and new station, here is the official news 100 of
					my class are to remain here at Sill either in classes in survey or
					communications, or as instructors, or in the air observors school (for which I
					don't qualify because I'm overweight so don't worry. Fourmen go to line outfits
					at Ft. Bragg. I don't want to stay at Bragg permanently so I'm not signing up
					for that. The remainder of the class goes to Ft. Bragg FARC. That would be just
					my luck! 
				 those who go to FARC will be put in an oversees pool from which they will be
					drawn as needed to replace officers in line outfits. They will be there probably
					a month at best. 
				 Men who come back here to Sill get 10 days off. Men going to Bragg get 13 days
					off and $ 109 travel money, so you can see Bragg does have its advantages.
					Frankly, I don't really care where they send me. I should know by Sunday which
					group I'm in. I'll air mail a letter to you then. 
				 I received another letter from American Airlines. The field at Oklahoma City is
					undergoing operations. There is a chance -- and it would be just my luck -- that
					the field will be unusable at the time I want to leave. However the airlines
					took my money + assured me that chances were good I would be able to fly. 
				 Since Jr. Prom is the Friday night I'm due home (or so the Bucknellian says), I
					think its worth taking the chance on air travel. Train could not possibly get me
					home til Saturday and if I miss the Friday plane, I'm sure I could get one home
					by Saturday anyway. Now the only problem is to find a last minute Prom date at
					B.U., for I don't want to make one til I’m sure I'll be there. You folks won't
					mind If I run off to a dance my 1st night home, will you? 
				 Yesterday I was Battery Commander in one of our RSOP’s. I didn't do too badly if
					I do say so myself. Today we had another final exam. I think I did fairly well.
					We now have only two more to go. One Friday + one Saturday 
				 Mother you don't need to help me financially. only two more to go. One Friday +
					one Saturday But if you really want too, you can help with my transportation
					back here or to Bragb Mrs. Marsh sent me a box of Pursity candy. Wasn't that
					nice of her? I wrote to thank her tonight. 
				 My uniform should be here the week-end. It better be any way, for I certainly
					want it to wear home. I still have a few little things to get too. By now my
					short coat should have arrived in Lbg. too. I hope it's all right. 
				 I got a hair cut tonight. I told the barber I didn't want it too short, but I
					think he misunderstood me, for he really did a job. I'm afraid it won't grow out
					enough to put me at my best when I'm home. 
				 We signed papers yesterday that make our disclarges effective March 17th and
					commission on Mar 18th. 2nd Lt. A.U.S. was printed after my name. It looked
					pretty good.
