Description
Letter written by Gandhi to Lord Irwin, the Viceroy of India, before beginning the Salt March nonviolent civil disobedience campaign in 1930. Gandhi selected coresidents from Sabarmati Ashram to join him on this march, and selected one coresident named Reginald Reynolds to hand deliver this letter to Lord Irwin.
