"Practically the entire herd is shown in this picture. A few of the less ferocious of these beats are kept in a large corral, near Mammoth Hot Springs, where they may be seen by the traveler. The Buffalo Ranch is away off the beaten path, and is reached by a side road from Tower Fall Junction."
