Description
"The Lower Fall, on Great Fall, as it is usually called, is here shown at a distance of about two miles. The height of the fall us 308 feet. The canyon walls in this picture may appear to be extravagantly colored, but in reality the coloring is, if anything, more intense. The Yellowstone River and Yellowstone Park get their names from the color of these canyon walls."
