Description
Rishel Bridge or Giffen Bridge (the later is the "old" name) over the Chillisquaque Creek, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, near the Sodom or the Chillisquaque Schoolhouse an eight-cornered building on Route 45, 2 miles east of Montandon. Also called . Bridge was over a 100 years old at the time of Nelson F. Davis' 1936 photograph. Charles Kline lived in the old Rishel home on the right side of the photograph.
