Description
Bridge at Shriner's Island over Buffalo Creek, Union County, Pennsylvania. Flood waters of the Susquehanna River backed upstream in Buffalo Creek during the flood of March 19, 1936 to a depth that floated the bridge from its foundations and the bridge collapsed.
