            <head><date>Saturday 29</date>.</head>
            <p>We moved up today. We had been promised teams, but they didn't come, so we
               tugged away at a <objectName type="equipment">hand-cart</objectName> &amp; we were nearly done. Someone had raised a row
               over in town, and five 4 horse teams came in the afternoon, &amp; before
               evening we had all our luggage up. We have a motley collection of <objectName type="equipment">tents</objectName>, some
               of the 21st Mass, sibley, wall, common tents, great lumbering tents of the
               rebels. We managed to get two nice <objectName type="equipment">wall-tents</objectName> &amp; I pitched them at right
               angles - then we got part of a sibley &amp; made a portico in front - it looks
               [Swiss?] - one <persName key="Dick Coulter" ref="https://raw.githubusercontent.com/BucknellDSC/jmlinn/refs/heads/main/jmlinn_personography.xml#jmlper025" cert="medium">Dick</persName> has for his department. The other we eat &amp; sleep in. We
               have it all floored very nicely, &amp; tonight feel as if we were at home
               again. It seems like our canvas home at <placeName key="Annapolis, MD" ref="https://raw.githubusercontent.com/BucknellDSC/jmlinn/refs/heads/main/jmlinn_gazetteer.xml#linnpl002">Annapolis</placeName>.</p>
