					<salute> Dear Aunt Stella + Uncle Elmer - </salute></opener>
				 having just finished my 1st real week. as an instructor, I feel like an veteran.
					It's not going to be bad at all. By the end of another two weeks, I shall have
					the work well enough in hand that I won't have to burn the midnight oil in
					preparation. So I shall have plenty of time for relaxation - movies, reading,
					and, I hope, some form of exercise. 
				 Most of my classes follow this formula. I open the class with a 10 or 15 minute
					lecture, discussion, or question period, and then turn the men over to enlisted
					instructors for the remainder of the two hour period - while I just stand around
					and try to look intelligent. I do have several classes in which I teach for the
					full period - and later on I'll have two hour lectures to deliver. I think I
					could handle anyone of the classes now - but I suppose it will be some time
					before I'm actually entrusted with the lectures. 
				 I see my friend Wells Henderson's father has been elected President of the
					American Bar Association, Wells, of course, is quite elated. Perhaps Mr.
					Henderson will be able to help me make a good contact when I finish law school.
					At least he should be able to give me some good advice. 
				 But I guess I don’t have to worry about law school for awhile, for although
					things are moving along in N. Africa, we are still quite a distance from Berlin
					and Tokyo.
