The Gandhi Memorial Museum at Sabarmati Ashram. The museum was added in 1963 to memorialize Gandhi's political leadership in the anticolonial struggle from Sabarmati Ashram during the years he was in residence there. It was designed by the Indian architect Charles Correa and inaugurated by India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru.
