Description
The poster has General Eisenhower in the center with the D-Day beach landing in the back. Although no specific month is given for when the poster was created, it had is likely to have been the end of June 1944 through December 1944 because D-Day occurred in June 1944. The artist, Boris Chaliapin, was an illustrator and portraitist for Time magazine and created more than 400 cover illustrations between 1939 until 1970.
